US president attends women’s golf tournament for third day

US President Donald Trump has taken part in a prestigious golf tournament for women for the third day.

The preside partook in the US Women’s Open Golf Championship at the Trump National Golf Course n Bedminister, New Jersey, on Sunday.

Wearing a “Make America Great Again” red cap, Trump was accompanied by his national security adviser, General H.R. McMaster.

The two viewed the event from a glass-enclosed viewing area, where his Melania Trump later appeared as well.

“Thank you to all of the supporters, who far out-numbered the protesters, yesterday at the Women’s U.S. Open. Very cool!” Trump tweeted, referring to demonstrators calling for his impeachment.

Demonstrators from Ultraviolet, a women’s advocacy group, were also present at the golf course for the third day, to denounce both Trump and the US Golf Association.

Those  attending the event “did not seem welcome the presence of protesters,” according to The Hill.
